Shed and deck demolition
Leaning sheds, rotted decks, old fences, and above-ground pools. We take them apart by hand and with power tools, load every board and screw, and haul it all away. Most come down in an afternoon.
Demolition, for us, means the small structures around a house that have reached the end: the backyard shed with the sagging roof, the pressure-treated deck from the 1990s that's soft underfoot, the fence that's leaning into the neighbor's yard, the above-ground pool nobody's opened in three summers, and the playset the kids outgrew. We don't do whole buildings or anything that needs heavy equipment, and we'll tell you if a job is bigger than us.
What we do, we do cleanly. The crew takes the structure apart in an order that's safe, cuts it into pieces that fit in the truck, pulls the nails and screws we can, and loads it all. Then we rake the area and haul everything away. Metal, including pool walls, railings, and hardware, goes to a scrap recycler. Treated lumber goes to a licensed facility.
Deck removal is often paired with a hot tub removal or a shed cleanout, and we quote them together. A medium backyard deck usually comes down and leaves in a single afternoon. Sheds are faster once they're empty, so a shed cleanout and shed demolition make a natural one-visit job.

Pricing
What changes the price.
You pay for the space your items take up in the truck. Labor, loading, hauling, and disposal are in the one number we quote before we start. Three things move it:
- Size and construction: a small wood shed is faster than a big deck with a lot of framing
- Access from the structure to the truck
- Concrete footings or a slab, which are a separate question from the structure

Came to remove (meaning they took it apart for us) our medium sized back yard deck the very next day, which we really appreciate. Took about 4 hours. Price was also very fair for such work!
If you need a junk removal company to be quick and easy process and a good price, call them. Great experience and very professional.
They showed up on time, very friendly and courteous service, great price. I would recommend them to my family and friends.
Questions
Straight answers.
Do I need a permit to tear down a shed or deck?
It depends on the town and the size of the structure. Many towns in Southern NH and Northern MA don't require a permit to remove a small shed, but some do for decks attached to the house. A quick call to your building department settles it, and we'll tell you what we've seen in your town.
How long does it take to remove a deck?
A medium backyard deck usually comes down and leaves in one afternoon. Large decks with lots of framing, stairs, and railings can take a full day.
Can you remove an above-ground pool?
Yes. Drain it ahead of time, and we take down the walls, liner, frame, and any deck around it. The metal walls and frame go to recycling.
What about the concrete footings or slab?
The structure and the slab are two different jobs. We remove sheds and decks down to the footings or the slab. Breaking up concrete is sometimes possible for small pads; mention it when you book and we'll look at it on site.
Do you demolish garages or houses?
No. We do sheds, decks, fences, pools, playsets, hot tubs, and similar small structures. Anything that needs heavy equipment, utility disconnects, or engineering is outside what we do, and we'll say so.
